Faith of the White Wolf

The Faith, taking up local traditions puts great importance in the colour White, symbolising purity and being cleansed of ones sins and mistakes in life. They believe the land in which they live is pure due to the white snow covering things.
A great deal of importance is placed upon wolves in the wider culture of the lands, yet has been adopted by followers of the Faith. Wolves represent an ideal of teamwork and command, as wolves are observed to work selflessly in pacts.
The White Wolf thus represents a perfect being, a being free of sin, in the body of a wolf.
There are certain followers who believe the wolf has already been killed, seeing the world and its purity already stained. These people lack any desire to preserve the world.
History
The Faith of the White Wolf is though to originate in forested communities in modern day Nirin, where most of its beliefs still hold the most strength.

The Faith of the White Wolf puts focus on selflessness, to help your family and friends above all else. To love and care for those around you, to the Faith is the path to a life free of sin.
The forests and their wildlife are treated as sacred and to be protected, especially wolves.
