Personal history

She moved to the Sun Island when she was nine, when her mother decided to move back home to remarry. She has looked after her younger siblings there for many years.
At the age of eighteen she left to be married as had been arranged by her father before his death but she returned home with her son a year later after she was widowed.

Education

The islands have no formal education system but she has learned a lot over her lifetime. As the eldest daughter of a chief she learned diplomacy at her father's knee and through her marriage she has an intimate understanding of the role of women in such alliences.
Her mother taught her the feminine concerns of looking after a croft and a household, as well as hosting important diplomatic meals for the visiting chieftans of other islands.
