Chronological Events Badger Tribe
874 BU Tasgillus Comey, the original ancestor, vision quests and
receives visions and benedictions from the mother Badger.
865 BU Tadgillus guided the tribal elders through the northern Gar
Marches to find ‘the 'one hill’ and began to build a great hill fort now
known as Jaileen.
858 BU Tadgillus leads the tribe in defending Jaileen and defeats
a goblin horde of 3,000. Their skulls are mounted on the gates and
ramparts of the hill fort. This battle forged the name by which the
Tylwyth know this hillfort by: Pau-i Tawe
857 BU Tadgillus meets with Tylwyth elders and they agree to live in
peace and work together to defeat the goblin foe
856 - 840 BU Badger tribe lands expand and they encounter other
clans who share the vision of Tadgillus and join the tribe.
839 BU Tadgillus succombs to his wounds inflicted while defending two
mothers and their six children from a raiding party killing all 21 of the
goblins single handed.
~700 BU Badger tribe begins settlement west of the Gar river.
647 BU Badger tribe diplomacy achieves co-defence pact with the Fox
tribe.
256 - 251 BU Tylwyth civil war, High chief Teague leads the combined
warbands of the Badger and Fox tribes and defends the Tylwyth Teg
who had lived in what is now the Darken and the Jars forest from the
Tylwyth Du. Two great battles, one at Jaileen as elements of the Tylwyth
Teg retreated from the Darken and another on the edges of the Jars
forest slowed the Tylwyth Du and contributed to the eventual end of the
civil war The Tylwyth Teg sustained great loses as does the Badger
and Fox clans but ultimately repulsed the Tylwyth Du. High Chief
Teague is given the great elven sword ... (Goblin's Curse) as thanks.

222 BU High Chief Teague while patrolling the southern Gar Marches
is killed during a border incursion by an army of Goblins and Tylwyth
Du. Not a single Warband member survived. To this day no one knows
where this battle occurred. Only the Clan Chiefs garmoor pony returned
and on its back was a bag with his head inside. Rumours say the final
battle occured on a granite hilltop (Bryn carreg dial) not far from the Iril
river and that there is a Goblin song of the same name which heralds
the victory.
20 BU High Chief Barsim forges an alliance with the Urso Tribe
106 AU Badger Tribe remains united with the Urso Tribe to reform the
empire
154 AU High Chief Welkan re-affirms fealty to King Raas and the Urtind
Kingdom.
280 AU border clashes with the Tylwyth Du in Darken reach a peak
and are repulsed. A truce of sorts is reached between the Badger Tribe
and the occupants of the Darken. The defenses of all of the Marches’
hillforts are redoubled. The Warband halls are converted into Stone
keeps.
500 AU the ramparts of the Hillforts are enhanced using stone from the
mines
591-594 AU the Plague years ravage all of the Badger clan, only 2 in 3
survive.
596 AU Badger tribe joins the battle against the Canus cult.
597 AU Llion Barsim and soon to become B'ran Welkan distinguish
themselves at the battles of Mor Baltus and Drassus as do other
members of the Badger tribe. Welkan was fighting as a member of the
Order of the Bear.
