Held by Serr Wystan, a distinguished warrior of Barsim (4 story stone manor house of 4,500 sq ft with a wooden pallisade and small moat), whose current Head of Clan is B’rant Ælfric Barsim of Caer Gralant. The village, surrounded by a wooden palisade, has 77 families of whom 13 are peasant families and 64 are stenix families. The current population is 478 with 311 of adult age with an additonal 58 people in the manor household staff.
The village has 3 blacksmiths, 3 woodcrafters, a weaponsmith, an armourer, a mason, 10 stockmen, 3 Foresters, 2 Masons, and 3 millers (there are 2 watermills and one windmill on a hilltop that fall within the dominion of the Manor) and 39 farming households. The peasant families provide 9 farming households, one cow herder, one swine herder, and one Shepherd, one horse handler and one labourer, who owe fealty to the clan.
The village's small stone church has a Chaplain who has been with the village for over 12 years.
Assessed for tax purposes at 584 Dragons. Annual tax 146 Dragons. The village can also be called upon to provide 13 Spearmen, 5 Archers and 3 cavalrymen.
Proud people with little interest in outsiders. Fields and village buildings are well kept and few people are poorly dressed
