Kinzards
Kinzards are a non-human and non-elven species compromising of more sentient lizards. The sub-species within the Kinzards are millenia behind Emporians in terms of technology, sociology and even in terms of government. While they've been known since the late second Eon, very little has changed them and they've long enjoyed their isolationism on the Island Chain of Allious.

Basic Information
Anatomy
Kinzards match commonly known less sentient lizard species however Kinzards are somewhat humanoid in shape. They are bipedal with a similar form to humans. What makes them not human is the overall function of their bodies. They are lizards through and through. They boast massive tails, scales on their backs and a thick skin on their front, large lizard snouts and three eye-lids. Beyond that however, they boast an immunity to poison/toxins and most diseases.

Kinzard lay eggs and watch over their clutches for months at a time

Kinzards have roughly the same amount of life span as the Tasaki (Fox Folk) with the occasional outlier nearing a hundred or so years
Ecology and Habitats
Because Kinzards originate from Islands and swamps, they tend to stay in the warm and water dense environments.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Kinzards are omnivores with a taste for large fish which are native to their isles.
Biological Cycle
Kinzards mimic commonly occurring lizards on the Akoran Mainland. They shed skin, regrow whole limbs (except heads), hibernate during the cold season

Social Structure
Kinzards are a tribal society with their leadership comprising of a long lineage of several different families mixing together. There are only three known social classes within Kinzard social ladder:
1) Spiritual Mother and Clan father
2) Clan warriors
3) Clan Members
The clan hierarchy is a mated pair consisting of a father who leads the Tribe's interactions with the world and a mother who guides and monitors the tribe's interactions with what they refer to as "River of Mana" or more widely known as Paradise, the home of the eight Celestials.
Clan Warriors are a small piece in the social ladder. They are only higher on it because they believe that when they kill something, whether it is through hunting for food or protecting their tribe from invasion, they feed their "River of Mana" by soul abduction. Soul Abduction is a rare enchantment that is put on the weapons of the Kinzard Warriors that behaves similarly to necromancy and soul gems except it doesn't keep the soul on the planet. Instead it is sent to this "River of Mana" to be re-purposed. It is unknown what this re-purposing consists of and it is also unknown whether this soul abduction actually does what they say it does due to the inability to confirm the existence of the "River of Mana" and the inability to talk to those who've crossed the horizon.
Clan Members are just that, the every day hard working people of the clan. They handle everything within the clan that isn't part of the Warriors or their father and mother's roles.
Facial characteristics
Kinzards have a lizard dominant look to them meaning their face resembles that of a gecko or a newt. long and stretched head comes to a broad end as a large snout with two nasal cavities rather than having a separate nose like most species.
Average Intelligence
When it comes to overall knowledge of everything, Kinzards rank very low but they are the smartest with cartography, fishing and sailing.

Kinzards utilize a naming scheme that mixes with their tendency to draw out any "ESSS" sounds when talking.

Kinzard tongue is a unified language known as Whisp. It's an easy to understand language but hard to replicate when it comes down to actually speaking it. It utilizes what is known as a "Stickling" alphabet which is a combination of lines that overlap each other to create individual letters
Common Dress Code
Kinzards are nudists and only utilize clothing during rituals to appease their unusual collection of deities
Common Myths and Legends
It is rumored that the Swamp Blood disease was originally a biological weapon imbued into the swamps of their home island to keep any foreign invaders out for good.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
It is highly uncommon to see Kinzards intermingling with other species due to their isolation and distance from the continent.
