Miscellaneous entries

These are items that are great to read for a little bit of information, but are so small they can be described with at minimum a few sentences to even a paragraph at most. They're flavor text to add to the world, and people are free to expand on them for themselves if the ideas seem interesting enough to do. If you need to find a specific word, person, or anything, you can do CTRL + F or a command that allows you to find something. It will highlight the item in this article right away.

Animals

Dinglebats: Bats that live in Helholtt, known for the very beautiful, ice-like reflective skin for their wings, on the inside. They're also known for crashing into Nebulawood trees at speeds up to 45 miles an hour, which sounds like concussive or shotgun blasts and can frighten someone very easily. Their ramming acually helps the trees bloom better due to the "injuries" causng branches to grow out of the spots, and growing a special fruit that the bats love to eat. They're... something.   Iron Drakes: Aggressive monitor lizards, measuring up to 6 feet tall from head to tail. They will eat anything and everything but loves to eat rocks and gems, as well as hard vegetables. They're pests and typically hunters are sent after them to dispatch them. Their hide is valuable as well, being literally made out of iron because of the vegetables and rocks they eat. Their meat is disgusting to some people, having too much of a strong scent to human blood, and being overall unhealthy because of their extreme diet.   Jupiter King Crab: An oceanic crustacean that lives deep in freezing, salty waters, such as Skaalsborg and Helholtt . They are a world wide known delicacy and splitting one in half is enough to feed 1, perhaps even 2 people; they're massive in size, the body easily reaching the side of someone's head. Their claws are also nothing to shoo at, with the meat bring the size of someone's hand at minimum. A juvenile jupiter king crab (read: up to 6 months old) have super soft shells and are catched for soft shell crab food. Its common for people to collect them and make statues or trophies if they went diving (as its dangerous to do so.)   Moonfish: a white fish that lives in either salt or fresh water, typically fresh. Their scales reflect light very prettily and makes this beautiful shimmer that can be seen at night, hence their name. They live in a lot of the lakes, and they originally came up Skaalsborg, only to end up on Magnesia. They're not an issue though, they acclimated to the ecosystem really well   Pistol Shrimp: Large shrimps that can strangely use the art of energy to hunt for their prey. Essentially a Eonian mantis shrimp. They're a common meal in lower Magnesia and across Easia, and come in droves. They're a prized in Magnesia and Ni'Avan, and are hunted for their beautiful, iridescent shells, along with their tail meat.   Sparrowhawks: A cross between a seagull and an eagle, essentially. They're derpy birds that scavenge around for food and are pretty much memes on Midgard. They live across Magnesia and Oro, but some are recognized in Skaalsborg, southern part.   Wilderdeer: A land pest that inhabits a lot of places of the world but especially are a problem in Magnesia . They ruin ecosystems, which costs more money to hire people with earth elemental skill to help redo agriculture-rich areas. They're one of the few animals that do not require a permit to hunt due to having a lot of issues with them breeding out of control. It is extremely common for places to serve wilderdeer meat, and because of their diet, the meat is pretty tasty, and the milk harvested is great quality.

Business

53rd Street: A small cafe in the sleepy town of Fallkirk. Belphie is known for venturing to the place, and also invests her money into it. The owner, Russell, is a humble old man who wants to share the coffee he grew up drinking from his own father. The cafe is sleep-themed, with large bean bags and comfortable chairs. Not only is the coffee amazing but the handmade chocolate is fantastic, along with all of the earthy tones and deep blues that can cause anyone to fall asleep in the cafe.

Magic

Mana deposits: Large areas of massive elemental energy. These areas can occur by looking like crystals, or could be the element in its raw form. Most countries have various ways on how to mine for their resources for using the energy in everyday technology or enhancing weapons, but the job is very dangerous and can cause elemental sickness. Elemental sickness is a illness where someone is exposed to an element in unhealthy, large doses. They become weak to the opposite of that element, and must recover in a sterilization room. (For example, if someone ends up exposed to a lot of earth energy, they'll find themselves weak to water or air energy.)   Moon water: A water enchanted with moon light. This can be easily made by setting a clear crystal of any kind inside a container with water and an open top. Then it is put under moonlight for a full 8 hours. A common component for witchcraft or magic use. It can be used offensively, such as buffing an attack, or defensively, giving the user healing that regenerates health every few seconds.

Minerals/Ores

Decavieite: A teal, clear gem that grows underneath the snowy mountains and cold areas in Magnesia, especially in Moorwood. This gemstone is used for generating ice magic, or at the very least water magic, that can go into construction or assisting with healthcare even. It takes on a very luxurious shine, and gives off energy that's both healing and refreshing. It's said to bring good luck in either polished or non-polished form.   Octadebite: A dark green gem which is most often found in caves and on cliffsides, especially in Skaalsborg and the Queen's Claws. Domeberry tastes like a blend of passionfruit and blueberry.   Dead Man's Wish: A weed that has coin-shaped blooms, which are separated from each other but come together at the base. It's name comes from a pirate who mistakened them for gold, but kept having misfortune happen to him, even after he realized his mistake. His last breath was him wishing he never touched the weed, and cursed everyone who comes in contact with it. It's a common weed that's used in witchcraft, usually paired with something pure and cleansing to negate the curse.   Death Lily: A beautiful flower that blooms in Delirium and can sometimes be found by open realm tears throughout Midgard; it's speculated they can even grow in other dimensions. They wither if they're taken away from any energy source Delirium is producing, thought there are some magical means to prevent that from happening. The Duchess loves them from nostalgia of her mom making bouquets out of them. She likes to wear one in her hair. The nectar is said to extend a person's lifespan.   Goldberry: A metallic gold colored fruit, it is shaped like a kiwi, and has the taste profile of raspberry and passionfruit, with a backing of lychee. It's can be found in other regions but its extremely rare. However, it is heavily populated in Dread's Garden, though nobody knows exactly why. For this reason, its hard to come by this fruit, and is quite expensive to harvest and to sell. It's said to "taste like a drink from the gods".   Kinkleberry: A dark purple fading to black fruit with jagged groves, looking elongated. The fruit smells like an earthier grape, but it tastes like strawberries mixed with a riper banana. They are used in bubble tea in Kangsu, as they are native to the country. Multzenberry is a staple to be used in dessert, and heavy in controversial use, such as a topping for tropical pizza.   Nebulawood: A gorgeous, hearty tree, nebulawood was made by Coraxol as a gift to Francine after an incident in the Voidspace. The branches look to be made of pure ice, while the leaves and buds are this pretty blend of ice and space working together. It grows everywhere in Helholtt and only Helholtt, only able to survive in super cold temperatures. There's a whole forest from which they originate, and tours are common for going through it, while the land is sought after to live on.   Oakmist: A very large, binennial tree with pretty sprouts that give off a foggy look, hence their mist name. The sprouts and buds are practiced commonly with divine white magic, and historically theyre a sacred tree, similar to the sacred nature of sage. They have a very sweet, earthy smell, and grow everywhere but the south.   Sazzleberry: A fruit with a diamond looking shape, with a pretty, peach fading to white color, having smaller diamond shapes on the bottom. This fruit is famous for having temperature reliant flavor - the hotter the berry, the spicier they get, and the colder the berry, the sweeter it gets. The fruit can be used in a variety of dishes. It tastes like a blend of strawberry and mango, with a citrus-hint to it. They originally come from Danzor and Sur'Dahl.   Void trees: A beautiful tree that can grow anywhere and survive anything, even natural disasters like volcanoes, earthquakes, and even stay rooted during a tornado. They're theorized to have come from the voidspace, but regardless, the bark has this shimmering black and purple look that's mesmerizing. If the tree grows in favorable conditions, it'll spawn apples. These apples are not available for harvesting until every 10 years comes to pass. They're difficult to harvest in the first place, which is why they're a very expensive luxury. They're especially eaten quite a bit in Ni'Avan .     Wintersnare berry: A blackberry looking fruit, it commonly grows in Skaalsborg and is a very hearty fruit that can endure any cold temperatures but will rot in warmer, hotter temperatures. It tastes like blackberry with a delicate hint of mint. The fruit is a country staple, used in pies made after a celebratory feast from a successful, 1-2 week long hunt.
