Tharizdun

The Chained Oblivion. The Hungering God.

A creature of roiling darkness and hunger, Tharizdun seeks the end of all things, most likely by eating the worlds. It was briefly freed as a result of the Rising of Vecna , but was chained once again by The Nine, wounding Ioun in the process. It is foretold that the wars of the Reckoning will weaken its chains and it will devour the worlds, after which the cosmos will begin over.
