Rome
Government
The Orun are currently running Rome, controlling it since they arrived on Enyu years ago. They have been able to hold its control despite the Regulators attacks against their ships in the past. Due to the growing population in Rome though, the Regulators have ceased attacks in the interest of keeping the citizens safe from collateral damage. Now the Orun treat the city like a large company, keeping the whole city in perpetual debt
Defences
Two of the Orun's flagships stay in orbit directly above the city at all times. They also have a substantial 'Police' presence in the city aswell to keep the peace and ensure everything runs well in the city. In the event of a Miasma Storm, Rome has a large array of Orun shields to keep the city sealed during the storm
Industry & Trade
The only industry Rome seems to actually have that isn't a privately owned business is its factories. They constantly produce a fluorescent blue liquid that is then transported to the Orun ships above. Its use is unknown.
Infrastructure
The cities size has given it the ability to develop many different shops and areas. Most will find anything they may need in the city of Rome, from humble blacksmiths to cybernetic implants. There isn't much you cant find in Rome
Guilds and Factions
If one were to try hard enough, you could find an example of every major faction within Rome, excluding the Regulators.
History
Rome is believed to be a city from the Age of Wonder, but most of its original infrastructure has crumbled away since then. However there are still three intact high rises that aren't in danger of collapsing. These towers have been constantly maintained and repaired over the years ensuring there continued stability.
