Demon

Demons are an engineered race. Made by ancient Orbyliths to wage war for them, however eventually the demons became strong enough to force the Orbyliths out of their realm and claim Hell for themselves.

Basic Information

Growth Rate & Stages

All demons are born from the souls that have been sent to hell and start out as the Lemure demon before developing into an imp. After reaching this stage the imp will spend a significant amount of time amassing power before finally developing into a higher form of demon such as the Halphus or Pit Fiend. They can evolve again after this stage to become a true individual.

Ecology and Habitats

All demons come from Hell and will usually choose to make their homes there aswell

Naming Traditions

Most common demons will not have names and is something they gain through power. In general terms, a named demon is a dangerous demon

Average Technological Level

Demons seem to hold a strong distaste of the modern technology, especially any brought in by the Orun, depising them and the other technologically advanced factions

History

While demons had been a huge problem in the past and a major threat to those in the material plane, now their numbers have dwindled so much that it would be impossible for them to do anything as grand as 'invading' the material plane. Though each individual demon is far more dangerous than those of the past, especially with the decline in magic, most conventional weapons arent even capable of hurting a demon anymore

Faction Relations

The demons are simply annoyed by the Orun, kotorun, and the Regulators and see them as bugs that need to be squashed
They are in a constant struggle with the Fenris Corp and the Sefate however, as they have the means to actually defeat demons, and while the Sefate are mostly passive and dont wander too far from their lands, the Fenris Corp will actively hunt demons when given the chance
Demons despise and hate the Oracles, they have no trust for the group and believe they will be the downfall of the sphere at some point for trying to mix magic and technology
