Mentors at the orphanage
At one point Gildarts asked all his children not what they wanted to be but who they wanted to become. For different reasons these individuals came to the orphanage to help teach you. One morning you where all told to gather in the yard. There where a bizarre collection of all manners of people, some of them started arguing, Gildarts stepped out of the orphanage and just called out children. You from experience knew this was a time to line up and pay attention. However to your surprise the mix of people did the same and formed a line opposite to yours even though they probably never done so together before in their life. After about 1 ring they left and Gildarts said it was your time to go and find your place in the world.
