Gildarts ''Old man Silver" Silverhammer
Gildarts Scale (a.k.a. SIlverhammer)
At the age of 3 Gildarts was left on the stairs of the temple of Tyr in Ethernis. Being raised in the temple, he found joy in giving back to those in need like he once was. After studying, training and working in the temple for near 80 years, he started to feel a sense of wanderlust. He figured that there were probably people outside of Ethernis that needed help that he could provide. With Tyr and the High Priest's blessings he left the temple.
Gildarts found his way to what later came to be known as Westvault and was recruited by a group called The Fortune force He gained quite the reputation with this group and after his adventures he retired from the adventuring life and returned to the temple.
One night a vision found him: It showed him Tyrs wish. He amassed his equipment and sold most of it before settling down in an out of way area in Idoslane. He had been to Idoslane in his previous travels and found himself on good terms with the current king Germine Allistair. The dwarf even supplied people to help build the Orphanage of New Horizons.
He received visions of children that needed a place to grow and find the beginning of their purpose. He traveled all over Equilox to collect them, and raised them as if they where his own. He told them about where they came from and provided teachers to help set them on a path to unlocking their true potential. Gildarts then received another vision when it was time to let them find their own way in to the world.
Among other great deeds, Gildarts agreed to act as counsel to the @lat and the following kings of the Allistair name. He also acted as High judge in the more severe and complicated cases.
