Golem
The Golem is a rock-like species native to mountain caves and deep underground tunnels, and although it can be observed outside of caves, it generally remains in a rocky environment.
Made out of the stones of their native area being infused by Flows, they showcase a great variety of colors and patterns. Some Golems can even carry fossils or precious stones within and on their bodies, attesting of their great lifespan. They display a set of two round holes on one of their sides that, which could be eyes although it's unclear if they have a vision per se. So far, scientists have used it as an indicator of the status of the Golem, the absence of light emanating from them being a sign of death.
As for their size, the smallest recorded individual measured 6 cm (2.3 in) while the largest reached to over 3 m (10 ft). Scientists are, as of now, unable to accurately determine an average size.
Although they have a rather inoffensive nature and display a brilliant lack of cognitive skills, there has been records of Golems protecting other species, suggesting an at least average level of social skills. They are also able, in most cases, to sense the intent of other species around them and react accordingly, so much so the saying "Gravel be no husle, Conglomerate leave in haste" was born, warning that a migration of Golems can only signal a terrible war approaching.
Due to the fact that they are made out of stone, their lifespan is determined by the durability of their stone body. It remains unknown up until which point a Golem's body has to be worn out before dying, as no one has seen a Golem die of natural causes yet. In a fight, a Golem will survive as long as it is not blown to pieces. They have no predators beside humans and very confrotational Wotjitukni, the theorized main cause of death being falling - or rolling - off of cliffs due to the poor control of their motor skills.
Golems do not need to feed themselves, nor do they seem to require sleep. On some occasions when near a Rastone feeding point, they have been observed participating in the bathing session of their cousins. They are a completely non-reproductive species, being not only unable to sexually reproduce but also incapable of asexual reproduction. Therefore, when a Golem dies, all its knowledge and unique traits disappear as well.
