Veils

Little is known of the beast they call 'Veils', 'The Veil', or sometimes simply 'it'. It is a creature that is said to attack indiscriminately without any sort of provocation and takes pleasure in the act of doing so, not interested in feeding itself like most wild beasts are.
The reports of its sighting vary both in location and detail, yet it is known to be large, airborne and fighting with long and sharp claws that can rip through armour with relative ease. One particular survivor recounted the scout of initially 'mistaking the beast for the sky'.
