Gods of the Sea

The Gods of the Sea are three mythical creatures that are supposed to be responsible for the fate of sailors. Most major temples decry them as heresy and either consider them made up or demonic in origin.
This does not dissuade most sailors however, who direct most their prayers to them and are far more scared of them than of any of the temples' gods.
When on the High Seas, it is not uncommon for sailors to dream of these gods. While they don't directly communicate with mortals, the dreams they provide are enough to make a hardy sailor lock himself in his cabin for days to come.

Stone

Stone is the kindest of the gods, responsible for the safe return of sailors and protection during distress at sea.
Those that dream of her feel invigorated and even younger. The dreams usually involve a landmass with a huge mountain serving as its centrepiece and whole civilizations living at its foot, acting as its guardians and desperately protecting unnamed treasures.

Storm

Storm, as per his name, is the fury of the seas, responsible for laying waste to whole fleets that displease him.
Those that dream of him often wake up with stormy, grey eyes and a strong feeling of apathy for their own situation. The dreams themselves feature strong themes of betrayal and violence, of drowning yourself and offering tribute to an all-devouring storm. One of the more frequent dreams is that of a procession moving up a cliff face to sacrifice the dreamer or those close to them.

Salt

Salt is the most mysterious of the gods, often considered to simply be a quiet watcher. A white bird or even bat is considered to be his scout, and those ships visited by one such a creature is believed to be watched by the god himself.
Those that dream of him often wake screaming: the dreams feature complete confusion and sacrifice. Yet as opposed to the sacrifices often attributed to Storm, these seem to particularly serve the point of destroying whatever is given, rather than act out of servitude. Some complain of memory losses when dreaming of him and even others yet claim that their realities have been swapped with that of a dream, suggesting this being's power to alter minds.
It is not uncommon to hear of occasional bouts of insanity when on the sea for too long. Particularly when involving cannibalism, this is also commonly attributed to Salt.
