Enfield Undrowned

An alternate world where four towns were spared from a watery fate, which led to a thriving, family-oriented community, people who changed the world, and available home fusion generators.   By the 1940s, the Swift River Valley in West-Central Massachusetts should have been under four hundred billion gallons of drinking water earmarked for a thirsty Metro Boston. When timely inventions saved the four valley towns from inundation, they also saved the dreams of families who didn't have to move, and produced more inventions downstream.   (This world's articles are still being written and updated, though my primary focus is writing more of the manuscript currently in progress.
