Vai

Vai is a small continent located west-central between Aebodoth and Crohand. Its terrain largely consists of jagged cliffs and rocky mountains, making it perilous for most people to visit and explore. What few settlements are known on the continent remain on the coastline, both to avoid the treacherous terrain and the dangerous creatures that lurk within.

Geography

A dull landscape with few patches of foliage, Vai is best known as the Isle of Gray for a reason. The land is broken apart by tall cliffs, towering mountains, and deep valleys. There are very few water sources inland, making it dangerous to travel without a sufficient supply on hand.
Vai is also home to an underdark, known as The Beneath.

Fauna & Flora

Due to the largely vertical environment, most creatures on Vai have developed one of two modes of transportation: flying or digging. The harsh landscape also finely tuned most creatures to live in a particularly brutal ecosystem.
tl;dr, some common creatures: kruthiks, aurochs, basilisks, bulettes, giant eagles, goats, rabbits, griffons, drakes, wyverns, harpies, hippogriffs, perytons, etc.
Giants are the native people here. Despite the area being prime dragon real estate, most young dragons avoid the continent due to the giants' presence.
