Anderida

A humble village located in Monstreng.

Demographics

Humans almost entirely populate Anderida. A small percentage of the population is half-orcs and orcs. There is one family of leonin.

Government

There is a simple system of government here. The "mayors" of the village are the Von Zymmern family, consisting of Eberd (father), Cicilien (mother), Metke (daughter), and Claus (son). All four hold title of mayor in the town, and the family title will be passed to Claus once he's aged and married.
Cicilien also works as the village's sheriff, enforcing common law and decency.

Defences

Anderida has minimal defenses. The town has two walls blocking off land passage, but otherwise they largely rely on the rivers to keep them safe.

Infrastructure

The village of Anderida contains a multitude of structures. There are two windmills, two watermills, three bridges, three dinosaur ranches, an adventurer's guild, farm fields, and a few other things.

Points of interest

1. Von Zymmern House - the mayors' house, located at the split of the river. It's one of the oldest structures in the village, though it's kept relatively well.
2. Sweet Whispers Inn - a large tavern and inn known for having soft beds and quality meat stew.
3. Anderida Church - a church dedicated to Lamarè and Astera. Small but popular.
4. Grede's Library - a small library that doubles as the home and study of Grede Glisserin, the local wizard. It's usually closed to the public.
5. The Graveyard - a simple graveyard where the mayors of the past have been buried. Most of the graves haven't been filled.
6. The Ranches - three ranches in tight quarters with each other make up this area: Meadowbrooke Nursery, Melody Ranch, and Dino Hills Pasture. All three ranches specialize in beasts of burden.
7. Adventurer's Guild - a branch of the Natreau adventurer's guild. It has a shooting range!
8. The Ugliest Cat - a bar in the more run-down part of the village. Not as nice as Sweet Whispers and not nearly as popular.
9. Maia Mill - a largely abandoned mill on a cliff. Ever since a new mill was built closer to the fields, this one has fallen into disrepair- but the children love it.
10. Little Claws Fields - the main farming fields of the village. It doesn't produce enough to feed the entire village.
