Whisher Fish

These spectacular fish are found around the archipelago and southern sea. They spend the winter out in the deep ocean, but at the arrival of spring, they come to the shallower seas to spawn. During this fortnight-long period, they will leap and "fly" over the surface in great numbers. It is a true wonder of Eneres to behold as their rainbow scales catch the sunlight and reflect on the water's surface.  The people of the archipelago celebrate the coming of the Whishers with a two-day festival, rejoicing the end of the winter storms and shorter nights.
