Tickerfly

Large insects, growing to 8ft in length. Found primarily near medium-large bodies of freshwater and the northern marshes. They have a long segmented abdomen and two sets of mesmerising iridescent wings. They feed primarily on smaller insects, amphibians and reptiles. They do not eat mammals as they cannot digest fur or hair.
