Reef's End

Reef's end is the capital and seat of power of the Freebooter Syndicate.
It is a large city and main destination for most travels within the Isles of Libertide, within the bounds of the city one can find famous explorers, infamous pirates, legendary shipbuilders as well as the imposing Seven Castles where The Seven Corsair Kings reside.
The main attraction for visitors however is the complete lack of trade regulations. Reef's end is a place where one might find everything from tribal artifacts originating in The Mistveil Range or powerfull experimental magics to secret military developments and blueprints from neighboring nations. Provided you can afford it of course.

Demographics

Reef's End is a melting pot for all sentient creatures inhabiting the ocean and surrounding lands, from rare breeds of fishmen that have come to seek adventure or sanctuary to barbarians from the The Mistveil Range that have found themselves chased to the waters looking for a safe haven, Reef's End and the Freebooter Syndicate welcomes all. Despite this however a large part of the population is comprised of human settlers from the land-dwelling kingdoms as well as the native tribes of the region who find themselves here for work and religious pilgrimage to the sactified volcano at the center of the island called Popocaya Binna.

Government

Method of taxation however is done very different compared to other countries. The land on the island is split evenly among The Seven Corsair Kings who each rent out their land and buildings to finance their responsibilities resulting in affordable housing and high investment in infrastructure to entice people to pick their area over another's.
