Freebooter's Code

The below 10 Freebooter Commandments which make up the Freebooter's code shall govern the actions of any free person regardless of race, sex or birth by order of The Seven Corsair Kings . Any who are found in violation of these commandments will find themsleves Expelled and no longer a Free man as per Commandment VIII   Commandment I: Freedom of the High Seas
Every Freebooter shall be granted absolute freedom to navigate and explore the high seas without restriction. The pursuit of adventure and prosperity shall not be hindered by any Syndicate member.
  Commandment II: Stand Tall and Stand Together
Any who seek to threaten our way of life or the commandments in this document wether they be a person, crew, organization or country becomes the enemy of any and all who considers themselves a Freebooter. Any found to assist or fail to act against the offending party within their means shall be found just as guilty as the offender
  Commandment III: Equality and Fair Division of Spoils
Half of all spoils, including wealth, treasures, and captured goods, shall be divided equitably among the crew members involved in the endeavor. With the other half to be used by the captain for future endeavors or personal expense unless otherwise agreed upon. No individual shall be granted special privileges over another.
  Commandment IV: Sanctuary and Non-Interference
The lands and ports of each Corsair King shall serve as a sanctuary for fellow Freebooters. No member shall interfere with the internal affairs or territorial boundaries of another, ensuring peace and cooperation.
  Commandment V: Right to Asylum
Any free person no matter the situation they find themselves in shall, upon request be granted asylum and protection by any who considers themselves to be a Freebooter regardless of circumstance.
  Commandment VI: Dispute Resolution
In cases of disputes between Freebooters any freebooter may invoke Belay. Upon invoking belay a fair contest shall take place as governed by a impartial mediator both parties must agree upon or if no agreement is reached will be governed by the person of highest authority available. The nature of the contest could be any, provided both parties agree to it and the contest has a clear winner. Alternatively if no agreement be reached a duel shall take place with a weapon chosen by the challenged. One is allowed to provide a proxy for the contest should they want to. Once the nature of the contest is decided a fair stake shall be decided by either mutual agreement or the governor of the contest. Upon which the contest shall take place at a reasonable place and time as decided by mutual agreement or by the governor.
  Commandment VII: Non-Binding Treaties and Alliances
The Corsair Kings may enter into non-binding treaties and alliances with other nations and factions on behalf of the Freebooter Syndicate, as long as such agreements do not infringe upon the personal freedoms and sovereignty of the Freebooter's Syndicate.
  Commandment VIII: Expulsion and Outlawry
Any Freebooter found guilty of betraying the code, engaging in treachery, or violating the personal freedom of others is expelled from the Syndicate and declared to no longer be a free man, subject to capture and punishment.
  Commandment IX: Amendments and Unanimity
Amendments to the Freebooter's Code must be agreed upon unanimously by all Corsair Kings. The foundational principles of freedom and cooperation shall remain inviolable.
  Commandment X: The Spirit of the Code
Above all else, the Freebooter's Code shall be upheld with the utmost respect for personal freedom, individuality, and camaraderie. The spirit of the code shall guide all decisions and actions of the Corsair Kings and those gathered under their might.

Purpose

The Freebooter's Code was established by the seven corsair kings to bring peace and mutual prosperity to all who find themselves upon the seas as well as secure safety from those who seek to threaten their way of life.
