Tieflings added to Council of Seven

Diplomatic action

After much deliberation, with added pressure from civil unrest and losses from the War from Within, a tiefling seat is added to the Council of Seven, expanding it into the Council of Eight.

The War from Within had been waged for the past 17 months, and its marks were evident to all Survivors involved. Resources were running low and tactics were easily swept aside by the enemy Orc Tribe. On top of this, tieflings already upset with the lack of representation in Sanctuary were promoting civil unrest, with some going as far as raiding shipments of food from ash fields or raw iron from the mines. Sanctuary's life was being drained from all sides, and the Council of Seven knew they had to act fast before it became a fly-laden corpse.   In a desperate attempt to uphold civilization, the Council of Seven realized they needed to turn to uncivil practices. Tieflings were originally held back from the Council for their devilish appearances and commonly anarchistic behavior, only granted refuge in Sanctuary for pity of the common man. But with the War from Within, those chronic desires for chaos could be put to use in a productive way to the Council, as long as they were kept under control.   Though the Nameless Day celebrations were very quiet that year, most partygoers muttering to select others under their breath, the decision ultimately paid off with tiefling Councillor Asmodeus Lornelock's brutal combat tactics. Only three months after his election and employment of his strategies, a ceasefire was called and a peace treaty signed between both sides.
