Clackey
Clackeys are small stone idols with minds of their own. They lack any limbs, confined to a somewhat cylindrical shape, but are able to move about by hopping or rolling. They have the spirits of tricksters, often inconveniencing any traveler unfortunate enough to journey by their habitat. They are small enough to be dealt with easily one-on-one, but whole tribes of clackeys can present a challenge to even a well-honed warrior.
Additional Information
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Clackeys reside in rocky environments like mountains and cliffsides, with a large portion of the population in places including Cloudreach or Cavume.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Clackeys have the innate ability to sense any tremors around them within 20 feet. This is believed to be their primary mode of sense, as their eyes do not move.

Clackeys often resemble small, smooth stone idols curled into a fetal position or in the whole shape of the stone itself. Some have faces eerily similar to sapient races, like gnolls or humans, while some sport only abstract facial features.

Clackey coloration mainly depends upon the stone or ground it was formed from. Darker soils will spawn darker-colored clackeys, just as lighter ones will feature brighter clackeys.
