Weaven
Basic Information
Anatomy
Weaven possess two distinctive tail-like appendages atop their heads, adorned with cascading, luxuriant hair. Their striking blue eyes and prominent, sharp beak lend them an unmistakably avian appearance. Their bodies are cloaked in a fine layer of short, white fur, complementing their humanoid form. They stand upright on two legs, each foot boasting three taloned toes—two facing forward and one pointing backward—all tipped with razor-sharp claws. While inherently avian, female Weaven exhibit mammalian traits, possessing mammary glands with which they nurse their young.
Biological Traits
Adaptable: Weaven are adept at living almost everywhere. They gain the ability to pick a second culture.
Beak and Claw: Equipped with a sharp beak and a long talon on their foot, the Weaven have deadly natural weapons. The Weaven’s beak can be used as a natural 8 WDR piercing weapon, and counts as an unarmed strike. Weaven can also perform a kick with their taloned feet, when using a kick attack one can chose to add +3 WDR in piercing while taking a -2 to the roll. These actions may only be performed if the beak/foot are uncovered.
Coastal Ancestry: Weaven originally evolved near the coasts of the Archipelagos of Bonavolanté so, they are naturally inclined towards a coastal lifestyle. They gain +8 to Swim. They also have natural pressure protection and can quickly sink without fearing the dangerous effects of pressure change.
Peak Fitness: The body composition of a Weaven allows for increased physical activity. They gain a +8 to Athletics, and can move at 2 meters above their size category’s movement level
Weather-proof Fur: The Weaven have a coat of fur that helps protect them against the weather. After one week of living in an environment the fur begins to adapt. Getting shaggier and thicker for colder climes or, finer and oily for wetter tropical climes etc. After another week the Weaven then is resistant to all weather based effects of that region and gains a +3 on Survival checks. After a month of living in the same region they gain a +7 on Survival checks in that region.
Genetics and Reproduction
Sexual with 2.5 year gestation and lay a single egg that hatches in around two months.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Binocular Vision: A vision style common to avian species. It increases perceptory range by reducing the field of vision. Visual Arc 75 degrees.
Binocular Vision
Gain a special minor action, you may choose to focus in on an object or creature granting a +25 to sight based checks against that target. All other sight based checks take an additional penalty of -21

History
Evolving among the Archipelago of Abalos as fishing villages. They were the first to develop the methods of spear-fishing. Naturally, because of this heritage, the Weaven has developed many skills in spotting and using spears. Since then, the Weaven have spread across the world, bringing their excellent fishing and polearms skills to nations far and wide. Their coastal villages contain massive complexes of aquatic farms where they raise large fish as livestock. They also tame large water beasts for transport & war.
