You travel to ancient cities and trade exotic goods. The air of the open road and the roiling seas is a common feeling to a trader.

Class Level Abilities

Beasts of Burden: If this class is taken at level one, you start with a wagon and a culturally appropriate beast of burden (GM approval). Beasts of Burden are 50% cheaper to purchase. Merchantman: Through a career of haggling you have become skilled in Barter +12, and Negotiations +6. Merchant’s Tongue: Merchants acquire many languages throughout their travels. Gain bonus languages equal to ½ your intellect (min. 1). These are in addition to any bonus languages you may gain from high intellect. Support Class: All classes consider the Specialist Class Group to be part of their class group for the purpose of multi-classing. A Trader can only be in one other class group unless otherwise specified. Wares for Sale: When this level is taken, you gain an extra 2x currency modifier to spend on trade goods. Trade Goods are 10% cheaper to purchase. Well Traveled: A Trader treats his base movement speed as if he is one size larger than his current.Level 2
