Shield Kit

A small personal device that can be combined with armor or a shield to provide an energy over the item. As a full-round action to activate or deactivate, the device emits a small shield that covers the entirety of a single piece of equipment. This shield has 30 hitpoints that regenerates at a rate of 5 hitpoints per phase. While active, the shield grants DR 5 Electric. If the shield completely breaks, it needs to rest for 1 hour before regenerating. If used on a shield, the Energy Shield skill is used instead of the standard for the type of shield.
