Control Dead
Effect
The mage animates a corpse into an undead creature. The creature gains unlife and rises as an level 1 skeleton or zombie at the caster's decision. The undead is mindless and obeys simple commands until given a new order. The caster may redirect the undead with a minor action. If the target is already an undead creature and not under the command of another mage, it must make a simple FOR save or become under the control of the caster. For undead that are already controlled, the caster may make a contested Handling check and the mage with the most successes gains control. If the undead is intelligent, it may be given complex commands, but recieves a new FOR save for each action it would not normally do. Intelligent undead cannot be commanded to complete actions that would result in injury or death, but could be possibly convinced with an opposed Rhetoric-based check. For each fourth level after the first that the caster possesses increase the save success category of the FOR save by one.
