Carrying Capacity
Carrying Capacity in Endeavour is measured on a weight system. An average character can carry approximately triple their Strength (min. 10) in Kilograms without much difficulty. Once the weight of carried gear exceeds this, it is considered a moderate burden. A moderate burden reduces your movement to ¾ of its normal pace (round to the nearest meter). If you exceed twice your capacity in kilograms carried you are considered under a heavy burden. When under a heavy burden you take a -20 to Athletics, Melee and Ranged, and can only move ¼ your normal movement (rounded down). If your swim speed would be reduced to 1m or less you are considered overburdened for swimming and will sink. You may not carry more than quadruple your capacity without constant Strength checks.
