Effect

A cone of energy pulses from the mage with a violent speed and strikes a target within range. The target must make as simple PER save or take 10 Force damage. For each third level after the first that the caster possesses increase the save success category by one.

Side/Secondary Effects

By spending an extra round to cast, the caster can choose a target within 28 meters, increase the save success category by one and deal 24 damage instead.
