End of The World

The world ended when zombies became real. The cure to illness wasn't a cure at all. Given to nearly every human in hopes of things like the common cold, flu, and more would be gone. Five years later, humans turned. Within one year approximately 10% of the population had survived. Over half of the dead were due to the turning, with the remaining due to dying from the aftermath. Welcome to the world of debauchery.   When the world falls and the people fall, what is left is usually the strong and the cruel. Men and Woman who had inner desires that stay hidden in a civilized world become front and center when there is no law, no government, where the only law of the land is if you survive.   Humans are a natural community bunch, but each small community is the sole vision of a person or couple. Small differences can create entire community exits. The light of hope can be snuffed out in the blink of a cold winter night, at the hands of raiders, or the swarm of the undead.   Humans are a prevailing bunch, and despite the low numbers their time will come again.   Come follow James and Elizabeth, two lovers whose paths remerged when The Fall happened.
