The Elven War of Five

Named after the five towns Breitia lost during this war.
30 years ago the High Elves of Sha’Lan Ahar launched a sudden & devastating surprise attack on Breitia.
For 5 long years the High Elves fought for what they claimed as the lost sacred lands. By their explanation the Elves believed that hundreds of years before the humans had migrated, to the now Breitia, & taken control.
Attacking across the strait in the western regions of Breitia the Elves quickly claimed land as their own. Once reaching the northern boarder with Unt’Rigeal the Elves turned their focus to the east, heading towards the human capital Lakeshear.
In a turn of events the forces of Unt’Rigeal counter attacked from the north as the feared by the Elves. This Dwarven assault was lead by Strom Rockbreaker, one of Unt’Rigeal’s most renowned military minds.
It was later revealed that King Gabriel V had sent his adviser, Serenity Bluesummer, north to Unt’Rigeal to broker a defensive alliance & much needed help from the Dwarves.
After a long stale mate (& in what was to become the final year of the war) the Elves again attempted to push east, attacking near a town called Nord. During the “Battle of Nord” the Dwarves inflicted massive casualties upon Sha’Lan Ahar's forces.
Within days of the “Battle of Nord” a ceasefire was called & a peace treaty proposed then signed.
