The Dragonkin Exodus

Roughly 200 years ago the Dragonkin of Malsteigia owned much of the territory now known as Unt’Rigeal , this was their home, their lands of origin.
Unhappy that their people were primarily confined to their holds & forts in the mountains, the Dwarven Kings joined together to push the Dragonkin back. This was the birth of the “High King” position, the unified leader of the Dwarven nation. For 40 years the Dwarves fought & pushed the Dragonkin towards the western sea, claiming lands that had never had Dwarven foot upon them before.
Now having claimed much territory, Dragonkin numbers beginning to dwindle & in full retreat the Dwarves finally let up their assaults. With victory in their grasp the Dwarves called peace, naming these lands as a new Dwarven nation called Unt’Rigeal .
