Chief Jardek

Jardek was born as a member of the Ke'kaci tribe in the Sypi Confederacy. One of many goblins within the tribe, he fled his people rather than follow their ways of life when he was very young. He ended up living in the city of Wofslar, a place where most tribal outcasts could find a new life. Jardek quickly joined a street gang, and lived in the alleys and dark corners of the city. He came of age immediately before the Sypi Civil War and at last found a place for himself among the Hidden Tribe, the largest of organized cabals within the Confederacy.
The Hidden Tribe offered Jardek a type of wealth and power not present in his home tribe or among the urchins he had surrounded himself with. He began involving himself with larger crimes and extortion, growing in influence and notoriety among he ranks of the tribe. The outbreak of the Sypi Civil War changed things, as the threat of the Church of the One Sun against goblins and nonhumans alike led him to take a side. He called for the involvement of the Hidden Tribe in efforts to stymie what initially appeared to be an inevitable Sihka victory. This was opposed by the higher echelons of the tribe.
Over the course of four years, Jardek bribed, talked, and killed his way to the top of the Hidden Tribe, eliminating those who stood opposed to standing the Sihka and their human supremacist agenda. Many underestimated the goblin, due to his humble origins, but those who did paid the price, as the heirarchy of the Hidden Tribe was decimated and the elf who had ruled the roost for nearly eighty years met with an unfortunate accident. Upon seizing power, Jardek immediately turned the resources of the Hidden Tribe towards assassinating and spying on agents of the Sihka and the Church of the One Sun. This directly led to the successful capture of two towns that had aligned themselves with the Sihka and the assassination of over a half dozen paladins of the Church. 
After the war had ended, Jardek has since been focused upon reasserting dominance in Wofslar itself, a struggle that has grown more intense and violent with the rise of the Sypi Unitary Brigade. These mercenary law enforcers have been stepping upon the protection and extortion rackets that have kept the Hidden Tribe solvent over the years, and Jardek is determined to wrest back supremacy for his people.
