Chairman Axel Ballestros (a.k.a. Panorin)

Axel Ballestros was born to an already wealthy and established high elf banking family. He was raised in the lap of available luxury in the Fruitlands, and found himself taking a knack to the family business from a very early age. Axel proved to be highly charismatic and effective in negotiations with humans over matters of banking and accounting, and was deemed very trustworthy and dependable. Unlike his peers at the time, he was also committed to tradition and the old ways of doing things, which earned him more respect from the Elders and the Directors. At the relatively young age of 382, he was given the responsibility of managing the primary branch of the family's banks, in the Imperial City. 
Axel served extremely well in his new post for over two hundred years, and gained the respect of generations of humans and their emperors. The wealth he accumulated went back into the family's coffers, and he was rewarded handsomely. When he finally came of age to join the Directorate, he was viewed as a safe new member who would fight for tradition. It shocked many more of the conservative members of the family when he decided to back the move to Augustin, and he led the Directorate to a new establishment there. The wealth of Augustin was an ample draw, and Axel believes that the wealth there is more stable than the old vaults of the Imperial City.
