Roam Sebastian von Darren-Gelgis

Prince Roam Sebastian Borghast-Gelgis, commonly just called Prince Roam, is the only son of reigning emperor Joanna Darren II and Roam Gelgis. As the oldest son of the oldest Twin Emperor, but the youngest child of the combined imperial household, young Roam has a confusing and oft disputed claim to the throne. Given his importance in the line of succession, debated as it is, Roam has lived a sheltered life, having been raised to rule, yet having had little expore to those he is (maybe) expected to rule.   Even though young Roam has enjoyed the most excellent tutoring the court of Emdar has to offer he has shown no particular talents for any field in which he has received education. He is not particularly bright and has a hard time keeping up with his grueling curriculum; he has no talent for violence and lags behind his peers in swordsmanship and other martial pursuits; and his character does not make a particular impression on anyone he meets, as the shy prince prefers the company of birds and books over his courtiers. What he lacks up in these traditional princely qualities however he makes up for in kindness, and the rare few who actually get to know him quickly count him among their closest friends.   Roam is gangly, awkward young man, sharing the androgynous features his mother and uncle are renowned for, yet having inherited none of their mesmerizing charisma. He is a gentle soul who prefers listening over speaking and reading over riding. His favorite days are the rainy ones, where he gest to curl up around the fire and play games with friends. His most striking feature are his radiant, yet sorrowful golden eyes, which is a trait he seems to have inherited from neither of his esteemed lineages.
