Monster Hunt

The Monster Hunt is a rite of passage for the Knights of Reimdal. In order to be properly ordain to be a true knight, a squire must go on a hunting expedition in the dark continent of Monstrosso and return with a tale to tell. Those who actually managed the near-impossible feat of slaying a monster earn a title for their accomplishments, typically by adding the suffix bane after whatever they slew. Examples include:

Dauphine von Darren-Reimdal Barghestbane who is said to have slain a Barghest. She wears the fang as of this dread beast as an earring.

Theresa von Darren-Reimdal Giantsbane, who is said to have slain a Giant. As a momento, she  usesa giant's toenail with her as a shield.
