John Darren I

John Darren I, also known as the Great Unifier, is the founder of House Darren and the first king of a united Emdar. During an event known as The Breach an army of demons pushed through the Demonites into Emdar, first landing in the lands now known as Darrenland. Through quick-witted diplomacy and courageous armed clashes John managed to unite the previously squabbling countries under a single banner to push back the Demons.
In order to finally seal the breach, John Darren had to purify his body, mind and heart at the shrines of the Smith, the Parent and the Lover and finally that of the Warrior, in the dreaded Demonia. John made the ultimate sacrifice- sealing the rift from the breach from the Demon's side. John disappeared through the tunnels with his most veteran fighters, leaving his closest companion to raise his daughter, Joanna I, to rule a united Emdar after his disappearance.
These companions were:
Cornelia Reimdal the Unicorn Knight, whose House would inherit the eastern lands of Skyra;
Terpischore Gelgis, the Dread Jester, whose House would inherit the southern penninsula of Gellar,
Holly Holstar the Holy, whose House would inherit the northern kingdoms of Fallore.
