The Red Blade of Michio Adachi
Tashi Kumori is a Taesuxuzouan samurai sworn to Lord Michio Adachi as his blade and bodyguard. Tashi is a fiercly honorable man and a shining example of one who follows the teachings of Bushido. Long has he defended the shores of his Lord Adachi's lands, mainly from seasonal raids by pirates that seek to pluder the beautiful land for all its worth. Once a follower of The Kemono completed a dark ritual in which Luna turned Red for one night and all of Lord Adachi's samurai lost themselves to rage except for Tashi. That night he had to slay every other samurai while protecting Lord Adachi, a feat that would spark the rumors that gave him his nickname. As witnesses would swear that that night Tashi's katana,Tsumugareta Heiwa, had been stained red with all the blood that covered it.
Yuko Kumori
Years after the night Tashi earned his moniker Tashi had started a family and had been gifted a daughter, Yuko Kumori. Tashi lived in peace for many years until Yuko suddenly became horribly ill. Even after trying the best doctors in all of Taesuxuzou her condition only worsened, though it only progressed slowly, it was over taking her. Lord Adachi in an attempt to repay his greatest servant and best friend began frantically reaching out to all avenues looking for someone or something that could cure Yuko. After many failures he found a mysterious figure that possed a Panacea, but would not sell it to him no matter what he offered. The stranger handed him a fine letter rimmed with red and told him that was the only way to cure Yuko before her disease takes her. Once Tashi read the letter and learned that as long as he participates in some event called the Red Holiday, win or lose his daughter would be given the Panacea and his bloodline secured. As he sets off to the Red Holiday to save his daughter Tashi Kumori's honor and skill will be tested like never before.
