Acolyte of Darkness Zaugar

A powerfully built half-orc man, Zaugar came to Kaer Nyssen to join the Silver Hand after hearing about their deeds that stopped the Plague of Undeath.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Leaning much more to his human side than his orcish, Zaugar is thus a seemingly human man with slight tusks and an extremely powerful build.

Apparel & Accessories

Zaugar is clad in dark black, fine leathers,with very light steel plating on the chest. Clasped by a large, silver buckle just below his collarbone, Zaugar has a thick, dark black, hooded cloak.
He wields two, fine silver longswords.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Unlike many of his kind, Zaugar was raised in a loving family of an orc man and a human woman in northern Uttutria, specifically Khoddadkal. His father taught him honor and strength, while his mother (who he never learned the background of) taught him basics in sorcery, specifically how to wield shadows and darkness. With these skills, he left home near the end of his second decade as a young man, and became a mercenary.
Roaming from city to city and taking bounties of all kinds, Zaugar started to become a skilled and experienced warrior. His toolkit as an Acolyte of Darkness allowed him to take bounties other, more simple warriors couldn't, and he even gained a level of notoriety in central and southern Uttutria. Then, when the War to End All Wars began, Zaugar enlisted in the military. He fought in the Akrithian Defense Force, but, when Khoddadkal itself came under siege, Zaugar defected, joining the Lotorians.
He fought in a handful of battle for the Lotorians before leaving the war altogether, going AWOL and hiding for several months. During this time, he hid in the ruins of the Shrine of Eternity. There, he furthered his capabilities as an Acolyte of Darkness, before heading back out into the world in 4001. While traveling through Icrorona, Zaugar heard of the Silver Dawn and their actions to stop the Plague of Undeath. And so, slowly but surely, Zaugar made his way to Kaer Nyssen.
He arrived shortly after the Silver Dawn returned to Kaer Nyssen following the events of the Battle for Valdura, and pledged himself to their cause. He joined Ren specifically, believing his talents could be best put to use by one of a stealthy nature, like himself.
