Setax Hold

The fortress-temple home of Rorvux, Prince of the Dark, Setax Hold is a terrible display of the Aslid's power. Rorvux had it built long ago as his base of operations millennia ago on the long-destroyed world of Citrov, which was the first planet Rorvux has ever destroyed. Now occupying an entire dried out, shallow sea basin, Setax Hold is as labyrinthine as it is imposing, its blood red and sickly green towers rising high over the surrounding desolation.

The Ramparts

The massive walls of Setax Hold stand as a grim reminder to the insurmountable power the Aslid wield. Never have they come under assault, for who would dare to attack the home of a god? The walls stand many dozens of feet tall, and several dozen feet thick, all with massive ramparts atop them that allows for huge amounts of defensive troops to take position.

A Dark City

After the initial ramparts, there stands many miles of dark, cityscape-like fortress. To get to the core of Setax Hold, one would have to navigate (and more than likely fight through) mile-long tracts of dark, imposing towers and deep crevasses filled with all the horrors the Aslid can imagine and create. The majority of the actual surface area of the fortress is dominated by this awful city. It is at the heart of this labyrinth of bloody spires and dark alleys that the true fortress lies.

The Fortress

At the core of Setax Hold lies one, tall tower, rising up above the rest like a dark hand reaching for the heavens. Within its labyrinthine staircases and hallways, the darkest rituals of Rorvux's brood are prepared and performed.
And deep, deep below this tower, near the core of the world, is one of the most hallowed Aslid sites the universe over: Rorvux's throne room. It is a massive platform accessed by one main doorway, with four others coming in from the various catacombs surrounding the throne room, and overlooks a massive, seemingly endless chasm. It is in the darkness of this chasm that Rorvux communes with his father, Vivrah. Floating above the throne room, hanging just over the edge of the chasm, is the crackling, darkened sphere of Rorvux's Oversoul, a pocket dimension created from his raw power.

Its Destruction

Setax Hold met its explosive end when the Silver Dawn, during their bold attack on the fortress, set off a mana bomb created by the collective power of the members of the League of Supremacy. The mana bomb wholly obliterated the fortress and nearly all of its cavernous catacombs, blasting a huge chunk out of the planet itself. Millions of aslid were vaporized, and countless weapons and artifacts were wiped from existence, the dark secrets of Setax Hold lost forever, for better or worse.
