Gold
Gold is one of two anti-magic metals in Yophas. Like lead, gold is completely immune to magical tampering; it is essentially "dead" in the lunar-arcane. Enchantments do not stick to gold, nor can gold be transmuted. And, as a fine metal, gold is highly valuable. Gold's desirability and anti-magic properties are the core reasons why it's the metal of the larger coins in Yophasian currency.
Unlike lead's secondary uses for magical defense and anti-mage traps, gold is used a sign of wealth. Because gold cannot be magically created (and thus "falsified"), it is the go-to metal for most emblems of wealth in Yophas. The rich and powerful wear gold jewelry with intricate metalwork; the finer the craftsmanship, the richer the person. Fine art pieces may be encased in frames of gold, and mansions might be bedecked in golden livery.
