Trastevere
Trastevere is a sleepy village that rests along the Bronwyn River It has several small houses, an inn, the Wayward Traveller , and a Chapel of Helios for worship. Passing travellers can also shop for supplies at the general store, Agatha's Wares or commission an item from the local smithy, Blue Blazes, so-called because of the unique blue fire used in the forges. It is located in the northern region of The Republic of Amoa , and it pays its taxes to the capital city of Luxxon by way of a tax collector who comes twice a year during New Blossom and Helios Rest.
The main export of Trastevere is hunted game as a lush forest, called The Eld surrounds the town. It also serves as an engine for agriculture within the republic. There is a single road that enters the town via a bridge that crosses the Bronwyn River. This road leads to the nearest town, Abberforth, and eventually leads to Luxxord.
The townspeople don't have much to worry about outside of the odd wild animal attack or bandits on the road. If it weren't for the tax collectors and travelling judges, the people of Trastevere would likely have no way of knowing they were part of a more extensive empire. Like most other small villages, the people here don't tend to stray too far from home, aside from the odd trip to Abberforth to trade. Groups of adventurers come about once a month or so because as far as anyone in Amoa knows, this is the last stop before the wildlands of the north. These adventurers stay at the Wayward Traveller. The prices are incredibly steep because of the infrequent visits, but it is the only place they can stay if they don't want to camp in the woods overnight.
