Salt

Salt

A former holy knight with an impaired memory.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Very tall, broad-shouldered, would be muscular if he had muscles.

Body Features

As a Kyrennei, he's composed of inorganic materials, namely, metal. His build is strangely bespoke, with engravings and modifications that cause him to resemble a humanoid skeleton.

Facial Features

Salt has two scratches on the right side of his facial plating, as well as two dots of gold paint under each of his eyes.

Identifying Characteristics

He is a 7 ft tall robot dressed like a priest.

Physical quirks

He has a wobbly rib plate that catches and clicks when he raises his arms.

Apparel & Accessories

Salt wears loose-fitting pants, boots with spats, and priestly garb from his former order underneath a large trench coat. He wears his former church's holy symbol (a skeletal hand grasping scales) around his neck, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head.

Education

No formal education outside of societal etiquette and martial training.

Failures & Embarrassments

Salt was expelled from his Order by his church's high priest.

Mental Trauma

Salt is aware that his current state of consciousness is the second time he's been activated- and he has no memory of the first. The implication of this causes him some distress.

Taboos

Despite his being inorganic, Salt's former institution still raised him to avoid what many consider to be "standard" taboos, such as public nudity, explicit discussions surrounding sex, disrespecting elders, etc.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Salt, like many Kyrennei, can feel antsy and uneasy if not working to complete a task. As such, he tries to keep on his feet and help those in need.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Salt is physically very strong, strikes an intimidating figure, and is quite personable- but lacks a formal education. His Intelligence-based skills are lackluster, while his Charisma and Strength-based skills shine.

Likes & Dislikes

Likes: Nature, walking/running, smoking, cards, curvy women, pretending to nap, and music.

Dislikes: Opportunists, bullies, nobles, puzzles and riddles, just the concept of an economy in general, salt water (it makes him rust).

Hygiene

As a construct who doesn't sweat, urinate, etc, Salt's upkeep is different than that of an organic person. However, he still takes care to clean and polish his frame, and wears dried herb sachets in his clothes to prevent stale odors.

Session .5- The Mine

Robin and Salt joined forces with a small dispatch of Arcane Wardens (Grimgold, Edwin, Zillen) to expel a hoard of undead from the shafts outside of Candlerise Wall, a small mining town. The pair, in league with their new allies, faced down giant spiders and shambling corpses- the remainder of the miners that had gone missing in the weeks prior. In the Western shaft, the group discovered a large beast covered in sores and boils- the supposed cause of the miners' undead state. With no need to breathe, Salt was able to traverse the smog emitted from the creature's back in order to see the abomination more clearly. The group doused the unholy fire transferring the life forces of the miners and chose to collapse the tunnels in order to avoid the evil being uncovered once again. Their job done, the group opted to head to Balengard's Reach, to stay at the Emerald Cascade Inn.
