Backstory Options
in Character Creation
Your character’s background represents their upbringing, homeland, important relationships, and their occupation before the start of the game's events. During the construction of your background, you might be offered tables to roll on if you'd like to randomize a particular characteristic. You are never required to roll on a table during character creation, you can always just select the option that appeals to you or even work with your GM to create a custom option.
It is recommended that you complete the details of your character's background in the order they appear. Starting with your homeland, and ending with a chosen profession.
Add all the relevant Ability Score Increases and Decreases, alongside any weapon, tool, and language proficiencies to your character sheet.
Then, it's time for the most important decision yet. It's time to choose a Class.
