You hurl a disc of arcane energy at a creature in range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 5d8 force damage.
If you roll the same number on two or more of the d8s, the disc bounces from the target to a different creature of your choice within 30 feet of it. Make a new attack roll against the new target, and make a new damage roll if you hit, which could cause the disk to bounce again. The disc can bounce this way up to eight times.


At higher levels: When you cast this spell at 7th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 and the maximum number of bounces increases by 2 for each level above 6th.
