Immolate
Immolate
5-level Evocation
Flames surround one creature of your choice that you can see within range. The target must make a Dexterity Saving Throw. It takes 6d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
On a failed save, the flames cling to the target, causing it to burn for the spell's duration and take an additional 4d6 fire damage at the start of each of its turns. The burning target sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. At the end of each of its turns, the target makes another Dexterity Saving Throw, ending the spell on a success.
If damage from this spell kills a target, the target is turned to ash.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell at 6th level or higher, both the initial damage and the burn damage increases by 1d6 for each level above 5th.
