House Valathora

History

House Valathora was one of the five princely houses of Syldaar following the elven defeat in the Qoynish War of Independence. The House established itself in the city of Arvandor but was supplanted by House Helevelur during the Gnoll Invasion of Qoyne.
The heads of the house, along with the bulk of their forces were sent to the Verdant Expanse to scout out the invading forces. After ascertaining the severity of the situation, they called on the elven princes to join in the conflict. By this time, their seat of power in Arvandor had already been taken over by House Helevur and their loyalists were put to the sword.
House Valathora went on to join forces with the Arcanists of Tenebra in order to fight back against the armies of Yeenoghu.

Military

House Valathora was known for their Horizon Walker rangers. An adept group of scouts tasked with alerting the world to extraplanar threats. A small force of 50 rangers was maintained in Arvandor to guard the portal to the fey wild.
