Chattel Set

A wooden case designed to hold all the essentials for a game of chattel. It contains a set of painted wooden tiles representing different types of terrain, thick strips of leather representing roads, miniature wooden huts representing trade posts, and one six-sided die.

Playing the Game. A strategic trading and negotiation game where players take on the roles of powerful merchant guild leaders. They vie for control of resources, establish trade routes, and negotiate deals with other players. It's a game of shrewd business acumen.
Up to six players can play the game at one time. Each player makes three cumulative Intelligence checks (with Chattel Set). One of these checks can instead be substituted with a Charisma (Persuasion) check. The player with the highest total secures the strongest trade route and wins the game.
Persuasion. Negotiating deals in a game of Chattel is quite similar to actual trade negotiations. If you're proficient in Chattel, you gain +2 on Charisma (Persuasion) checks made to negotiate the price of a good or service.
