Astral Blood

Astral Blood is the name for a rare gene that provides a predisposition towards controlling the fabric of the planes. Those affected can often manifest the ability to teleport and easily traverse or even manipulate the astral plane.
A spellcaster who manifests their Astral Blood can often display a mastery or teleportation magic far exceeding the bounds of conventional magic.

Symptoms

The gene will often begin manifesting itself in late adolescence (though early or late manifestations do occur) and will display itself in various subtle forms such as causing planar anomalies, accidental short distance teleportation or causing deviations in another creature’s attempts at teleporting.
