Fulgan Rager

Fulgan ragers are a notorious creature across the galaxy for their unbridled aggression, viciously throwing themselves at creatures much larger than them & constantly getting into fights. This confrontational approach has seemingly worked to its advantage however, as even in Geminus Major it has few natural predators in part thanks to this high aggression.
Appearance
Covered mostly with dark black fur with the top of their body & bulk of their face being accented by streaks of red, and a small amount of white fur around the ears & under the eyes. Most stand around 30cm high with an average body length of 60-80cm, with a bushy prehensile tail that's usually 10cm shorter than their body. their paws each end with 5 strong, curved claws, the front paws having noticeably longer ones than the back. The skin underneath their fur is also notably tough & hard to cut or tear.
Diet & Behaviour
Fulgan ragers are omnivores, but predominantly lean towards carnivore. Most of its diet subsists on smaller creatures such as birds, frogs, & insects, but will on occasion feed off of larger animals that have been hunted by other predators by scaring them off after they've got a kill. Fulgan ragers tend to live alone, with the exception being when rearing their young. Fulgan ragers are also an interesting species when it comes reproduction, as they naturally transition between male & female throughout their lifespan. Whenever they impregnate or give birth, their body begins to slowly switch its active sexual organs, meaning they will alternate between being mother & father for their young.
